So, if you count December, January & Febuary as the official winter months, it may have seemed like Cate Ferris did a bit of a Houdini.....and you would be quite right.
Firstly, apologies to anyone who may have turned out on the 6th Jan to Annies wonderfully cosy acoustic night "Softly softly" up in London but I was completely snowed in and unable to make it.Sorry!
January was spent mainly here........
chilling out in Kenya!
It was an incredibly beautiful and inspiring place, not least because of the fact that there was time to spend whole days doing nothing in particular, ....walking, reading, visiting the village, making walking sticks, taking photos and generally having an actual holiday. A rare and beautiful treat.
Since returning, there has been the house moving things going on and the tentative beginnings of work on the new album.So, watch this space (and the website - www.cateferris.com) for gigs, album demos, festival appearances and news of the other wonderful musicians I am going to be working with this year.
Come on the Summer!!!
